Feeling Yourself While Feeling for Others: A Somatic Practice Workshop
Are you finding it hard to stay embodied in daily life and in the face of what’s happening in the world? Do you constantly pour yourself out for others without filling your own cup? Does part of you want to DO something, while another part feels frozen?
It’s hard to know how to feel or what to do right now; being more embodied could help facilitate a needed change.
Did you know that the words rebel and revel both come from the same verb—to rebel? What if learning to show up for ourselves before we show up for others is the ultimate rebellion? What if reveling in our structure and sensations is the seed of resistance? The wellness of your own body is the beginning of making a change in the world—transformation starts with a single shift.
Join us for a workshop exploring and reveling in embodied practices—somatic exercises, nervous system tuning, and togetherness—that may increase our inner sense of self as we show up for others!

Calling all LMTs, PTs, and experienced bodyworkers!
Elevate your practice on Saturday, September 14th from 11 AM to 3 PM with a transformative workshop designed to sharpen your skills in differentiating mechanical patterns from somatic ones.
This workshop equips you with a powerful approach to unlocking structural change through a somatic lens.
Here's what you'll gain:
-
Discernment: Uncover the art of identifying the root cause of your client's issues. Learn to distinguish between mechanical issues (predictable, following physical principles) and somatic patterns (adaptive responses with a deeper story).
-
Advanced Techniques: Delve into the SPRE Bodywork and fascial manipulation techniques, empowering you to address somatic issues effectively.
-
Holistic Approach: Gain a comprehensive understanding of how these patterns impact the entire body structure.
-
Transformational Results: Witness the power of shifting your perspective to achieve lasting structural changes for your clients.
This workshop is perfect for:
-
Bodyworkers seeking to expand their skillset
-
Practitioners wanting to see deeper results in their clients
-
People who work with bodies and are curious about the mind-body connection in physical issues
-
Continuing Education for LMTs in WA State
Don't miss this opportunity to refine your practice and unlock the transformative power of somatic bodywork!
Workshop max is 8 participants so that everyone receives individual attention. Register today!
P.S. Still unsure? Here's a powerful distinction to remember:
-
Mechanical problems follow predictable rules, like a faulty hinge.
-
Somatic patterns are the body's intelligent response to a past experience, not necessarily located in the affected area.
Learn how to recognize both and unlock true healing!
